Master your times tables with Numi
A self-contained game that helps children learn and practice multiplication tables 1x–12x through short lessons, quizzes, and rewards — fully offline, no account needed.
"Let's go — table by table!"
Learn, then play
A step-by-step walkthrough of each table comes before the quiz, so kids see the pattern before they're tested on it.
Works fully offline
Every lesson, question and hint is built into the app. No connection required to play, ever.
No accounts, nothing to sign up for
Open the app and start. There's no login, no profile to create, no password to remember.
5 languages
Every string in the app — including accessibility labels — is translated: English, Français, Español, Deutsch, Italiano.
Numi is shaped like the number 9
A friendly, golden character with big expressive eyes, white cartoon gloves, and a red-and-white baseball cap. Numi shows up throughout the app with a line to match the moment.
Zero times anything is always zero!
Teaching
Hmm... what comes after 7x6?
Thinking
Three stars — you nailed it!
Celebrating
So close! Let's try that one again.
Encouraging
Three steps, every round
Pick a table
Choose any table from 1x to 10x — or Random Quiz, which mixes questions from every unlocked table.
Learn it, step by step
A short walkthrough covers one table's facts before you're quizzed on it.
Play a 10-question round
Each question is 4-choice multiple choice, with instant feedback and no "Next" tap needed — it auto-advances.
Results show your score, time, and mastery percentage, with a star rating and confetti on a strong result — then Replay, Next Table, or Home.
Stars are the motivation, never a paywall
Tables 1x–10x are unlocked from the start. 11x and 12x are shown locked rather than hidden — nothing is bought to unlock them, they're just there to aim for.
Built so a bad day never erases a good one
- +10 points for every correct answer, plus a +5 streak bonus once a streak reaches 2 in a row.
- Star rating per round: 3★ at 90%+, 2★ at 70%+, 1★ at 50%+.
- Per-table stats are monotonic — a worse replay never erases a better score, time, or mastery percentage. Only improvements are saved.

Every table has a story, not just a score
A 12-table mastery grid tracks each one through five stages: Not Started → Learning → Practicing → Strong → Mastered. Alongside it: overall progress, total stars, cumulative questions solved, best score, and a day streak.

The wrong choices look like real mistakes
Multiple-choice distractors aren't random numbers — they're generated to look like plausible mistakes: an adjacent multiplier's product, or an answer that's just one off. It's the kind of error a kid actually makes, which is exactly why practicing against it helps.
7 × 8 = ?
54 and 63 come from neighboring tables; 48 is one multiple short.
Five facts that unlock every table
- 1
Multiply by 0
Any number times 0 is 0.
- 2
Multiply by 1
Any number times 1 stays the same.
- 3
Commutative Property
You can switch the numbers and get the same result.
- 4
Repeated Addition
Multiplication means adding the same number multiple times.
- 5
Times Tables Pattern
Each table's answers increase by the same number each time.
10 questions a round. No menus to learn.

5 languages, fully translated
Every user-facing string goes through all 5 — including accessibility labels, not just visible text. The app auto-detects your device's language on first launch and falls back to English if it isn't one of these.
Accessible by default
- Every animation respects your device's "reduce motion" setting — CSS transitions and script-driven effects alike.
- All interactive elements carry translated accessibility labels, in every one of the app's languages, not just English.
- Large tap targets throughout, designed for young hands.
No accounts, no servers, local-first
There's no sign-up and nothing to connect. Your scores, stars, and settings stay on your own device. The app does include an advertising component (Google AdMob) to support development — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what that involves and the choices you have.
